Irvin Reay

Irvin Henry Reay, of Hanover and formerly of Durham, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Saigeon). Loving father of Bryan Reay and his wife Kim, Carolyn Coutts and her late husband Elgin, Rick Reay, Janice Reay and her partner Barry Gateman, Angela Fry and her husband Les, and Kevin Reay and his wife Michelle. Fondly remembered by his 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of Eleanor MacLean, and June and Lloyd Howatt.  Brother-in-law of Wayne and Pat Saigeon.  Predeceased by his infant son Randy, his parents Cecil and Florence Reay, his brother Orville Reay, and his sisters Norma Davis, and Edna Bell, and his sister-in-law Rheta Charlton.

A funeral service celebrating Irvin’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, April 18th at 1 p.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. We encourage you to confirm your attendance by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website or by calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
