George Plume

Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Friday, September 11th, 2009. George Wesley Plume of Durham at the age of 93. Predeceased by his first wife, Gladys Carmount in 1957, his second wife, Jennie Yokum in 1992 and his beloved daughter, Ivadel (Ivy) in 2001. Loving father of Bev Plume and his wife Marion, John Plume and his wife Marion all of RR#3 Mount Forest, Norma and her husband Harry Copan of Pike Lake, Donna and her husband Ray Clark of Durham, and Bonnie and her husband John Ross of Thorndale. Father-in-law of Jim (Dianne) Stevenson of Calgary, Alberta. Dearest friend and companion of Blanche Henderson of Durham. Survived by his sister Jean Holliday. Fondly remembered by his 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a large extended family. Predeceased by his brother John Plume and his late wife Shirley and by his brother-in-law Glen Holliday.

A Celebration of George's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A private family interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery.
