Marjorie Weir

Mabel Marjorie Weir (nee Kinsman), of Durham (past resident of Abbeyfield), passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Weir. Loving mother of Shayron and her husband Gordon Burt of Toronto, and Connie and her husband Don Chapman of Surrey, BC. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan Chapman of Kelowna, BC. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Isabelle Rowbottom, and her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Elwood Kinsman and his late wife Mamie, Mary Kinsman, Lloyd Kinsman and his late wife Florence, Florence and her late husband Frank Payne, Reta Woodcock, Clarence Kinsman and his late wife Alma, and Verna and her late husband John Lent.

A funeral service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home on Friday, May 27th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Masks are recommended and we encourage you to confirm your attendance by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website or by calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837. A recording of the service will be available for viewing on Saturday, May 28th at 10 a.m. and will remain posted for viewing afterwards.

Interment at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville.
