Edythe Thornton

Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Saturday, September 19th, 2009. The former Edythe Emily Helen Turner, of Durham, in her 94th year. Loving mother of Heather Thornton and her friend Bob Dowling of Durham, and John Thornton and his wife Frances of Brampton. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn Russell, her son, Alan Thornton, and her husband, Albert Thornton.

Celebration of Edythe's Life will be held at Rockwood Terrace on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow.
