Adele Schenk

Bertha Adele Schenk (Noble) of Durham, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Andy Schenk. Loving mother of Bert Lennox and the late Kim Shane and her husband Don Shane. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Aaron Shane and his wife De’Leah, Cody Shane, Meghan Rodwell and her husband Kyle. Proud great-grandmother of Calan, Avalea, Owen, Blake and Addisyn. Remembered by her sister-in-law Georgina Schenk and special family friends Alex Neuman and Helen Hopkins.

A memorial service celebrating Adele’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Durham on Thursday, September 8th at 11:30 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. A recording of the funeral service will be available for viewing on the Funeral Home website on Friday (www.mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca). 

Private interment of cremated remains will be held at Durham Cemetery.
