Sharon Stoddart

Sharon Elizabeth Stoddart, of RR#6 Markdale, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Pat Gillen. Dear sister of Christina Foster, Frank “Butch” Stoddart and his wife Linda, Doug Stoddart and his wife Georgina, Brian Stoddart, and Wayne Stoddart and his wife Marianne. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and the Gillen and Brodie families. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Hazel Stoddart, her brothers Donnie Stoddart, and Robert Johnston, and her sisters June Hutchinson, and Isobel Scriver. 

Sharon worked for 25 years at Chapman’s Ice Cream.  

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 from 1 – 3:15 p.m., followed by a memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life at 3:30 p.m. Spring interment of cremated remains at Markdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
