Phyllis Westholm

Phyllis Anne Westholm (nee McAfee), of Owen Sound and formerly of Durham, passed away after a spirited journey with cancer at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 in her 66th year. Beloved wife of the late Eric “Rick” Westholm. Dear sister of Art McAfee and his wife Barb Watson. Cherished aunt of Lori Watson and her husband Barry Thomas, and Bradley Watson and great aunt of Brayden and Alexis Watson. Sister-in-law of Larry Watson and his wife Nancy. Also remembered by Cal and Sue Westholm and their family. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her beloved cat “Mia”, who was always on guard during her journey. Predeceased by her parents Calvin and Elsie McAfee, and her sister Eileen Watson.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held at the Best Western Inn on the Bay, 1800 2nd Avenue East, Owen Sound on Sunday, January 29th from 1 – 4 p.m., with a memorial service being held at 2 p.m.

Spring interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
