Don "Lumpy" MacLachlan

Donald Douglas MacLachlan, of Durham, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 in his 59th year. Dear partner of Patsy Bovingdon. Loving father of Sheldon MacLachlan and his partner Cassidy Reay, Braedon MacLachlan and his partner Orianna Farr, Landon MacLachlan, stepfather of Paige Bovingdon, and Jessica Bovingdon and her partner David Vander Ploeg. Cherished grandfather of Axel and Bohdi. Dear brother of Joan and her husband Ian Pegelo, Ellen Nelson, Toni Ingram, and Jackie Pegelo. Son-in-law of Ken and Shirley Rodgers. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Angus “Cap” and Donalda “Donna” MacLachlan.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Lumpy's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Thursday, May 25th at 3 p.m., followed by a come and go celebration of life from 4 – 7 p.m. Private interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.   

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
