Cedric Johnston

Cedric Melville Johnston, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Fleischmann). Loving father of William “Bill” Johnston and Heather Cormack, John Johnston and Corrine, Richard Johnston and Catia, James Johnston, and Derrick Johnston. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Chandal, Blake, Nathan, Lowell, and Caitlin. Great-grandfather of Hayden, Holice, and James. Dear brother of Elizabeth Gaffney. Predeceased by his parents Lowell and Bessie Johnston, his brother Ed Johnston and his late wife Merle, and his sister Luella and her late husband Jack Sturrock.

Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
