Russell McCann

Russell Edward McCann, of Hanover and formerly of Durham, passed away at Hanover Care Centre on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 in his 96th year. Loving father of Ed McCann and his partner Melanie, Deanna and her husband Bill MacKenzie, and Cheryl MacKenzie. Cherished grandfather of Jason McCann and his wife Jackie, Les MacKenzie, Christy and her husband Jay Patriquin, and Linda Paige MacKenzie. Great-grandfather of Noah, Faye and Logan MacKenzie, and Charlotte Letterman and Connor Patriquin. Predeceased by his siblings Ray McCann, Roy McCann, Emma Buckingham, and Kay Jackson.

A memorial service celebrating Russell’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, June 17th at 12:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Salvation Army - Hanover would be appreciated by the family.
