Jannich Nielsen passed away on Saturday, June 28th,2008 at the age of 67,at the Durham Hospital after a courageous fight with a rare lung cancer. The road was uphill and rocky but he never complained or stopped fighting as the disease spread throughout his body. Beloved son of Faye Gaston and the late Joe Gaston. Dear brother of Mark and his wife Karen. Cherished uncle of Jamey, Haley and Riley Gaston. Mike will be missed by his loyal canine companion "Jesse" and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Florence and Bill Cotter.
